Czechs in October to polls

The Czechs go on 20 and 21 October to the polls to elect a new parliament.

A current survey agency TNS Kantar indicates a major defeat for the Social Democrats (CSSD) Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka. According to the latest poll party gets only 12.5 percent of the vote. In 2013 that figure was 20.5. The liberal-populist ANO billionaire Andrej Babis would nearly double to 32 percent.

Every four years there are elections in the Czech Republic. More than eight million voters faced an invitation of their democratic right.
