Crocodiles bite tourist (90) dead in Zimbabwe

A 90-year-old tourist was killed in an attack by crocodiles on an inflatable boat in Zimbabwe.

The attack took place during a boat trip in a national park. 'The crocodiles attacked the inflatable boat until it got a leak,' said the spokesman. Witnesses were alarmed, after which rangers rushed to the aid. 'They had to shoot at the crocodiles to disperse them. '

For one of the victims, the help was no longer useful. John Bowman (90) died before he reached the hospital. The 65-year-old Rosemary Mitchell sustained life-threatening injuries. She is still in the intensive care unit of the hospital in Bulawayo, the spokesperson said Friday. Both victims are from Zimbabwe.
