Criminal court: Gbagbo on conditions free

Judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague have decided that the former President of Côte d'Ivoire, Laurent Gbagbo, will be released on conditions, two weeks after he was.

The public prosecutors of the ICC, contesting the acquittal of Gbagbo, made a final attempt to attach conditions to the release of Gbagbo and co-defendants Charles Blé Goudé, to ensure that they return to court if necessary.
