Cracked oil tanker is still on fire

The oil tanker that crashed on a cargo ship on the Saturday before the east coast of China is still on fire on Monday.

China has sent four rescue ships and three cleaning boats to the scene of the disaster. The United States and South Korea have also sent an airplane, helicopter and a ship. The accident took place at Shanghai and the mouth of the Yangtze River. There, it collided with a Chinese cargo ship, which did not suffer much damage.

The oil tanker sailing under Panamanian flag was on its way to South Korea from Iran and shipped 136,000 tons of condensate, a very light form of petroleum. That is roughly equivalent to a million barrels.
