Court of Venezuela: Guaidó is not allowed to leave land

The Supreme Court of Venezuela has ruled that the self-appointed interim president Juan Guaidó is not allowed to leave the country.

As a parliamentarian, also chairman of the National Assembly, Guaidó enjoys political immunity against criminal investigation. The chief judge can cancel that. At the request of the highest prosecutor Tarek Saab, the Supreme Court also opened an investigation following the accusations that Guaidó helped foreign powers to interfere in internal affairs.
