Cologne opts for light at New Year

The large square in the Cologne Cathedral will stage during the New Year with a big light show.

The show of light artist Philipp Geist has to change the square into a 'light-dream space' and forget the woes of the previous turn of the year. 'The best answer to the horrors of last year to develop new images with a positive art form,' says the artist Tuesday.
