Cologne again forbids demonstrations Kurds

The Cologne police refused to grant permission for two demonstrations by Kurds in the inner city.

According to the authorities in the German city, it is to be expected that the rules in prohibited flags and symbols will be seen. Kurdish groups from Cologne and Leverkusen had registered the meetings on behalf of the umbrella organization Nav-Dem. According to the Public Prosecution Service, it sympathizes with the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party PKK.

Applicants can go to court to object to the decision of the Cologne police.
