Cohen willing to confess, Trump in close

Michael Cohen, the former lawyer of US President Donald Trump, has informed the justice department in New York that he is prepared to make a confession of guilt.

By cooperating with the public prosecutors, Cohen can be eligible for a reduction of sentences. An investigation into him had been initiated for, among other things, bank fraud and tax evasion for millions of euros.

Cohen was mainly in the news by paying $ 130,000 to porn actress Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had a sexual affair with Trump. That 'silent money' may be in violation of legislation on election campaigns.

Trump is described as 'the man who knows where all corpses lie', because as a lawyer he arranged many affairs for the president and then candidate.
