Clinton kept controversial employee

American politician Hillary Clinton refused in 2008 to dismiss an advisor who was under fire for alleged sexual harassment.

A thirty-year-old campaign employee had complained at the time about the behavior of the married religious advisor, with whom she shared an office. The man would have massaged the woman's shoulders and kissed her on the forehead. He also reportedly sent the employee several inappropriate e-mails.

Campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle advised Clinton to fire the man there. However, the politician, who made a bid for the presidency in 2008, wanted to arrest him. However, the salary of the consultant would have been withheld and he would have to go into therapy. The relevant employee was transferred. The woman did not want to respond.
