Chaos everywhere during deadly shooting: Screaming everywhere

It was a havoc, Wednesday in Parkland.

Some students hid during the shooting in classrooms. Others ran outside in panic. 'I heard screaming everywhere,' a student tells ABC News. 'I crawled under the desk of my teacher. '

'I heard six shots. Then we started running. We ran for our lives, 'says another. The 17-year-old Noah Parness tells that everyone actually took it easy, until they saw running teachers. That was the signal: alarm phase 1 has arrived. 'Then everyone started sprinting. I jumped over a fence. '

Elsewhere, a class was hiding in a kind of storage room together with the stage teacher. There was crying. Where tears flowed, was in the neighborhoods around the school. Many parents received frightening messages from their children- or expected them correctly, but received nothing.

The daughter of Caesar Figeuroa hid in the storage room. She heard people running, screaming, and she heard shots in the classroom next to her. Eventually she could inform her parents. 'But I did not hear anything for twenty minutes. The biggest nightmare was that ', says Figeuroa. 'The longest twenty minutes of my life. '

The number of people that the shooting finally bought life is not yet clear. On Thursday night the death toll was seventeen.
