CBS does not want to give top man a lump sum

The CBS television network refuses to pay the dismissed CEO Leslie Moonves a lump sum payment of more than 100 million euros.

The decision to remove Moonves from his position and not award a lump sum payment follows after the top of the company has evaluated the results of an independent investigation conducted by two law firms. A draft version of that report was leaked to The New York Times this month. It accuses Moonves of destroying evidence and attempting to bribe prosecutors with the promises of jobs at CBS.
