Casey Affleck wins best actor Oscar

Casey Affleck has won the Oscar for best actor in the night from Sunday to Monday.

Affleck was one of the two favorites for the price. He has won numerous other awards for the role. It was the first time he was nominated for an Oscar.

Manchester by the Sea won earlier in the evening an Oscar for best screenplay. The big winner of this ceremony is the musical La La Land, which won so far six statuettes.
