Cannes shaken by ill IS joke

Hotel guests in Cannes on Saturday agonies endured when a boat with six IS terrorists rapidly approaching their super-deluxe hotel.

Or so thought the hotel guests from a distance. The hotel guests were just having lunch on the sunny terrace when the boat came closer and closer. A hotel guest: 'Someone started yelling and people jumped out of their seats. It was very frightening. '

It turned out to be a PR stunt. The 'terrorists' promoted a new marketplace, but intended for the richest. 'A sick joke- and a terrible too,' says the manager of Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc, where would stay even George Clooney at the time.
