Call angry demonstrations against execution

The prominent Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr on Saturday called for demonstrations in the Gulf States and Iraq to protest against the execution in Saudi Arabia of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr Baqr.

,, I ask the Shiites in Saudi Arabia, to show courage by responding to peaceful demonstrations. And the same on Shiites in the Gulf, to discourage injustice and state terror in the future. I call for angry demonstrations in Saudi buildings '', Sadr said.
The prominent minister also referred to the Saudi Embassy in Baghdad, which just last week is reopened. Saudi Arabia had withdrawn its diplomats in 1990, when Iraq invaded Kuwait.
