Bullet hits German girl at the turn of the year

A 68-year-old man has known that he shot at the German Salzgitter with a gun during the New Year's Eve.

The police had been looking for the shooter since the turn of the year. Research shows that the shots were fired from the window of a café and a bit later on a sidewalk. The suspect has no license for the 9 millimeter pistol. The police tracked down the shooter via eyewitnesses.

During the turn of 2015/2016 there was a similar incident in Germany with more serious consequences. In Unterschleichach, a man shot around and an 11-year-old girl was hit and found death. The man has now been sentenced to 12.5 years in prison.
