Brussels traffic lights in sign Gay Pride

Two men or two women crossing hand in hand at green or hand in hand with red.

At eight intersections, Brussels Minister Pascal Smet (Mobility and Public Works) and State Secretary Bianca Debaets (Equal Opportunities) have replaced the traffic lights with the traditional male with lights of couples of the same sex. 'Real love can not be stopped. That is why we have a new design for the traffic lights, 'said Smet. They stay for a week now.

Brussels celebrates the Belgian version of the Gay Pride Parade. The entire city is reflected in rainbow colors, with flags at Brussels stations, a rainbow crossroads in the European district, colorful line buses and custom lighting on the Grand Place.
