Brussels increases pressure on Poland to rule

The European Commission has given Poland until Monday the time to dispel concerns about the Polish law.

In January, Brussels opened an investigation because there are strong suspicions that the new laws undermine the rule of law and democracy in Poland. The move Wednesday is the next step in the procedure.

Is there Monday,, no significant progress '' made, it is Brussels with its formal position on the issue. Dialogue with Poland should lead to the elimination of all objections.
