British research launched into Russian role in Skripals case

The British authorities are going to investigate the possible involvement of Russia in fourteen deaths.

The chairman of the parliamentary committee for home affairs had asked Rudd for such an investigation. It concerns deaths on British territory that were initially not considered suspicious, but were later linked to Russia in the media.

Rudd said he would like to know if there is any basis for such accusations. 'The police and MI5 agree and will assist in that company,' she wrote.
