British Prime Minister May can stay on

British Prime Minister Theresa May has survived a vote of no confidence from a group of parliamentarians from her own Conservative party.

The result does not mean an end to the 'Brexitchaos', but May is currently in charge of government policy. According to the rules of the Conservative party, the parliamentarians can no longer come up with a vote of no confidence for a year. May itself promised prior to the vote that she would retire as party leader for the next parliamentary elections.
