British commemorate Grenfell fire victims

Survivors of the deadly fire in the London Grenfell Tower have gathered for a memorial service at St Paul's Cathedral.

Survivors kept photos of the victims up on Thursday. Care workers and many dignitaries also attended the ceremony. These included Prime Minister Theresa May, opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn, Prince Charles and his sons: William and Harry.

Bishop Graham Tomlin dealt with the dissatisfaction among survivors during the service. For example, in the run-up to the inferno, little has been done with concerns about fire safety. In addition, many of the displaced residents have still not received a substitute accommodation.

'Today we wonder why we did not listen to warnings. Why a community now neglected, abandoned and ignored, 'said the clergyman to the audience. He expressed the hope that an investigation will show how the fire could break out. 'And that the truth will also bring justice. '
