British agreement: Northern Ireland in EU

It seems that the agreement on the Brexit, which the British Cabinet is discussing on Wednesday, is that Northern Ireland remains in the EU and thus becomes a sort of separate from the United Kingdom.

The May government is dependent in the British Parliament on the support of the Northern Irish party DUP. Several members of parliament of that party rejected the agreement Wednesday. Party leader Foster stated that Northern Ireland 'will break free' from the rest of Britain and that her party can not agree. Another Member of Parliament called the agreement 'humiliating' for Northern Ireland.
