Bremen forbids Muslim association

The German city of Bremen has banned a radical Islamic organization because its members would support Islamic State in Syria.

The association was the successor of a Salafi organization that was banned in December 2014. This club it was suspected of recruiting jihadists to fight in Syria. Former members of that organization took over the association now banned, said German authorities. The association was founded in 2009.

In raids two hundred police officers and special forces were involved. Police arrested if known anyone. Well computers, hard drives, mobile phones and records were taken.
