Brazil Senate begins session Rousseff

The Brazilian Senate on Wednesday began a session that determines the fate of President Dilma Rousseff.

According to Brazilian media is the probability that Rousseff sufficient senators gets behind in order to prevent a deposition procedure, virtually nil. The Senate has 81 members. According to one major newspaper in Sao Paulo vote at least fifty senators for impeachment.

It is not clear how long the session, possibly until the morning of Thursday. The hearing on this issue in Brazil's Lower House in April lasted for days.
