Bombs Paris made possible in Schaerbeek

An apartment in Schaerbeek is possible where the bomb belts were made before the attacks of November 13 last year in Paris.

The apartment would also be used as a 'safe house' for the fugitive terrorist Salah Abdeslam. The apartment was already found on December 9, but the news about it was not known until now. In the house police found alongside traces of the explosive TATP, three handmade belts that could serve as a bomb belts. In addition, a fingerprint of Abdeslam was found.

The bomvesten would have been without the detonators to Paris. There they were possible detonators provide a hotel in Alfortville which Abdeslam had rented two rooms.

The federal prosecutor's office declined to comment, according to De Standaard.
