Bomb Homs attempt to torpedo peace talks

The deadly bombings aimed at the Syrian Homs hindering the peace talks in Syria.

In one of the attacks Saturday the head of military intelligence was slain in the city, along with 29 colleagues. Another attack at a building of the national security service took another twelve lives.

According to Syrian state television three suicide bombers blew themselves up at each of the two places.

Homs in western Syria is largely under the control of the Syrian army and has been repeatedly targeted by shelling by Islamic State.
