Bomb attack on police vehicle in Diyarbakir

In a bomb attack on an armored police vehicle Tuesday in the center of the eastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir cases thirteen wounded.

It is not known who is behind the attack. The Turkish government and the extremist armed group Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) decided three years ago to the rest weapons and talk peace. That peace process, however, stranded in the summer of last year, partly as a result of the bloody battle across the border in Iraq and Syria. This led Turkey to a new wave of violence.
