Black boxes recovered from EgyptAir

Egyptian technicians can repair the damaged black boxes of EgyptAir flight MS804, allowing the researchers to determine whether they can still extract data from the devices.

The two black boxes were recovered Thursday and Friday in the Mediterranean respectively. The cockpit voice recorder and the flight data recorder can probably shed light on the cause of the accident.

Flight MS804 collapsed on May 19 at sea during a journey from Paris to Cairo. On board the Airbus A320 is 66 people, all of whom perished.
