Bill Cosby hears punishment in September

Bill Cosby is told this autumn what punishment he will receive.

Cosby was found guilty on three counts by a jury last month. In 2004 he dried up and abused former basketball player Andrea Constand. For every crime, the fallen comic can receive a prison sentence of up to ten years, in total thirty years. Cosby's attorneys immediately announced that they would appeal.

In anticipation of his final sentence, Cosby was released on bail. He is at home, with an ankle band he is under electronic supervision.

Cosby would not have abused Constand alone; a total of 62 women came forward with similar stories about the comedian. Most other cases, however, are barred.
