Big mistake: Japanese train leaves second too early

A Japanese conductor has made an 'unforgivable' mistake.

That is how the NOS reports. The train left 25 seconds early from the station in Notogawa in central Japan. That is a mortal sin in a country like Japan, where puncuality is of paramount importance.

Due to the fault of the conductor, people had to wait six minutes because they missed their connection. 'The great inconvenience that we have caused is really inexcusable,' the train company said in a statement.

It is the second time in half a year that a train drove away too early. In November, a train left 20 seconds too early.
