Big difference in tolls on French autoroutes

Vacationers this summer driving through France, faced with widely varying tolls on motorways.

The cheapest toll road in France, the A75, where only local tolls. This north-south route Clermont-Ferrand- Béziers comes as less than 3 cents per kilometer. Another north-south route, the A20 from Vierzon to Montauban, by 3 cents per kilometer also a bargain. Toll on the A7 Lyon- Marseille is 7.8 cents and the A1 Lille-Paris, 9.5 cents per kilometer.

The most expensive is the A14 autoroute. Which runs from the La Défense business district west of Paris on the western edge. On the 20-kilometer highway that reaches to Orgeval A13, the price during peak hours, every kilometer 53 cents.
