Belgian businessman died in Moscow in mysterious circumstances

A Belgian board member of the large Russian steel company NLMK was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his apartment in the center of Moscow.

That reports the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad. It would be vice-president Bruno Charles De Cooman.

De Cooman was found under the window of his apartment. According to police in Moscow his body showed 'characteristics of a fall from a great height'. The Russian news agency TASS reports that an investigation has started. The Belgian was head of the research and development department.

The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet confirmed the death.

The home of the CEO is located near the Red Square, reports De Morgen.
