Bannon agrees with questioning by Mueller

Steve Bannon, the former strategist of the White House, agreed that he would be interrogated by the team of Robert Mueller, the special prosecutor who is investigating Russian interference in the US presidential campaign of 2016.

The deal prevents Bannon from having to testify before a grand jury. The New York Times reported Tuesday that Mueller had summoned former Donald Trump's advisor to appear before a jury room to determine whether there is sufficient reason for a lawsuit.
