Bank fined for cyber robbery

A bank in the Philippines on Friday received a fine of 1 billion pesos, converted more than 19 million.

Hackers cracked in February the central bank of Bangladesh. They made more than 90 million prize. A small portion went to Sri Lanka. That money has been returned. Most of the money was diverted via the Rizal Bank and Philippine casinos. That money and the perpetrators are still missing.

The damage was ultimately limited. The perpetrators tried to steal nearly a billion dollars, but the transfer of which was largely prevented.
