Bagpipes play dies in Scotland

The iconic Scottish instrument, the bagpipes, in danger of being lost.

Many municipalities have budgets for such music lessons limited or abolished by budget cuts. Therefore has only a quarter of the children the opportunity to learn to play the bagpipes, unless the parents are willing to pay far more expensive private lessons, the Scottish newspaper The Courier reported Saturday.

The Scottish Conservatives have called on the government in Edinburgh to bring the erosion of the bagpipe lessons stopped.
