Baby dies after hours in hot car while mother works at Dominos Pizza

A six-month-old baby died after spending hours in a hot car in the city of Emporia in the US state of Virginia.

'I just forgot to drop him somewhere', says Blondia Curry in front of the camera against ABC News. She had a very busy morning and had recently been told that her 13-year-old daughter has diabetes. Curry was back at work for the first time after many visits to the hospital.

'I have wondered myself a thousand times how I could forget my baby, but I know that my head was somewhere else,' says the assistant manager of the pizza restaurant.

When she found Dameer in the car after work, the woman realized that she had never put her son down. She called the emergency number and tried to cool her baby with water. A customer resuscitated the boy, but in vain. The woman, who can not afford the funeral, has started a crowdfunding campaign.
