Australias largest evacuation for Hurricane Debbie

The Australian authorities have called on 30,000 people to leave their home because of hurricane Debbie.

The cyclone Debbie is classified in the second highest category 4. More than 20 000 people are without electricity. Because of the strong winds of over 220 kilometers per hour are blown the roofs of some houses. Tourists wait in hotels until the storm is over. Also opened shelters.
