Attack on Shiite mosque Pakistan

A bombing at a Shiite mosque in Parachinar, a town in northwestern Pakistan on the border with Afghanistan, on Friday at least 22 people killed.

The responsibility has not yet been claimed. Last month fell more than eighty deaths and dozens of people were injured in an attack on a crowded Sufi temple in southern Pakistan. Terror group Islamic State claimed the bombing.

Parachinar is the capital of the Kurram tribal region. Pakistani security forces are fighting for years against extremist groups. In January, a bomb blast at a market in Parachinar 21 people dead.
