Attack on Kuciak presumably assassination

The Slovakian investigative journalist Jan Kuciak and his girlfriend Martina Kusnirova were most likely killed by a contract murder.

The prosecutor said nothing indicates that there was a fight and that almost nothing was stolen from Kuciak and Kusnirova. 'That suggests that there was a contract murder. '

The bodies of the journalist and his fiancé were found on February 25th. The police spoke of an execution with shots through the head and chest. Kuciak wrote about political scheming and profit. In his research, he may have encountered bands of mafia fans with Slovakian politicians and government officials.

No one has been charged in the case. Approximately two hundred people have been interrogated.

After the double murder, there has been massive argument against the government. Prime Minister Robert Fico was forced to resign.
