At sea Missing dog shows up

A young German Shepherd, Luna, which hit nearly five weeks ago on a boat in the Pacific Ocean on board and was considered drowned, was found by the US Navy on an island.

Local media in the Californian city of San Diego reported Thursday that the eighteen year old Luna February 10 of a fishing boat in the waters west of the city fell into the ocean and was missing. The owner, Nick Hayworth, who was presented the naval base at San Clemente Island, about 90 kilometers off the coast of Southern California, at the height, but searches at sea and on the island were unsuccessful.

Last Tuesday, however, saw a sailor Luna along a road on the island. According to Sandy Navy Munnik Luna was undernourished but otherwise healthy and cheerful. The dog is Wednesday back home in San Diego flown.
