Aston Martin again builds James Bond models

The British car factory Aston Martin will build 28 cars that are almost identical to the type DB5 that became famous in the James Bond films of the sixties.

The cars will cost approximately 3 million euros excluding taxes and will be available from 2020, according to the manufacturer. The car factory cooperates with experts from the film industry in the field of special effects. The machine guns from the DB5 from the Bondfilm Goldfinger can not be fitted, but the rotating license plate.

The DB5, referring to a crucial investor and owner of the car company for years, David Brown (1904-1993), is an Italian design. The prototype of this car model was used for Goldfinger in 1964.

From the Aston Martin DB5 an estimated thousand were made in the years 1963-1965. Thanks to James Bond, the car is one of the most famous models ever.
