Army Libya grabs former bin Laden driver

Libyan soldiers have taken prison in the port city of Derna Abu Sufian bin Qumu.

Troops of the mighty warlord Khalifa Haftar took Derna the last few days, after a siege of almost a year. The city was in the hands of extremist groups, including Bin Qumu. According to the military source, Bin Qumu, who was born in Derna, could be caught when his fighters were through their ammunition.

Bin Qumu moved to Afghanistan in the 1980s and fought there with the Taliban against the Soviet Union. Later he joined al-Qaeda. He was bin Laden's driver when he lived in Sudan.
