Apple adds Dutch public transport

Apple will also add Dutch public transport to the Maps app from May 25th.

All transport companies, including the Teso to Texel, will be available in Maps from tomorrow. When zoomed on the map, the rail, metro, tram and bus lines appear. If you click on it then see the line number, logo of the transport company and if there are any problems on the route.

When planning a trip, you can see where to switch, which stops are on the route, and also take into account which in / out must be taken for the most efficient route possible. In order not to be able to walk around the phone all the time, Siri can help navigate through the Apple Watch.

Furthermore, it is possible to book a table at a restaurant, for example via IENS, and a Uber without having to leave the app. Alternatively, you can quickly find a car dealer where you can charge electrically.
