Ankara freezes assets of Turkish Dutch

The Turkish government blocks the Turkish bank accounts of Dutch citizens.

Erdogan holds the Gülen movement responsible for the failed coup of July 15 last year, so he suspects people with an account at Bank Asya of membership of a terrorist organization.

Bank Asya confirms that accounts are blocked. Immediately after the coup attempt, the activities of the bank were suspended and later acquired by a Turkish state fund. People who had an account are persecuted in Turkey and can not with their money.

Also Turks in the Netherlands can not with their money.
