Angolan president quits after nearly 40 years

The President of Angola, José Eduardo dos Santos (73), holding it in his own words in 2018 finally it on.

Dos Santos came in September 1979 to power in the oil-rich Angola and torn by internal strife. He is one of the longest serving leaders in Africa.

The leader of Cameroon, Paul Biya (83), ruled since June 1975.
