Anger in Wales over dead escaped lynx

A lynx escaped from a wildlife park in Wales was killed by the authorities because the animal could be a threat to humans.

The lynx escaped at the end of October from a zoo in the eastern county of Ceredigion. Attempts to catch the predator live, failed, said Sky News Saturday.

After Lillith had been extinguished in an area where many people live, it was decided on the advice of a vet to kill the animal. 'People's safety was at the forefront and we had to act decisively,' according to a statement from Aberystwyth City Council on Facebook.
