American journalist arrested in Venezuela

Security agents in Venezuela have arrested an American journalist.

Weddle works as a freelance journalist, according to her own statements for the American media ABC and Miami Herald. In the South American country, head of state Nicolás Maduro and the self-appointed interim president Juan Guaidó are currently fighting for power.
