American Congress agrees with tax plan

The US House of Representatives dominated by the Republicans on Wednesday gave final approval to the largest review of US tax law in thirty years.

The House approved the bill with 224 against 201 votes. The proposal was put to the vote for the second time in two days after a procedural error called for a new vote. The US Senate also agreed to the drastic reform of the tax system in the early hours of Wednesday. Of the one hundred senators voted in favor of the new law after one night of deliberations. 48 Democratic senators voted against.
