Ambassador unable to serve Trump

The American ambassador in Panama, John Feeley, gets on.

A spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Feeley is leaving. He would do that for personal reason. Feeley is a career diplomat and a former helicopter pilot. He leaves as an ambassador on 9 March.

It is not known whether the departure of Feeley has to do with the statements that Trump would have made during consultations at the White House about immigration. The Democratic Senator Dick Durbin, who was in talks, said that Trump called Africa and Haiti 'shitholes' (backward countries). Trump denies that he used those words.
