Also after brexit British soldiers in Germany

The British Defense Minister Gavin Williamson confirmed his belief in NATO and underlined the special relationship with Germany.

Williamson will visit British troops stationed in Minden and Augustdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia) on Friday with his German colleague Ursula von der Leyen. Both will then sign an agreement on future military cooperation.

According to Williamson, a well-considered total withdrawal of British forces is absolutely not at issue. The number of British soldiers in Europe is indeed reduced after March 2019, but the barracks in Minden, Paderborn / Augustdorf, Mönchengladbach and Dorsten / Wulfen hold their permanent core troops.
