Already Minister Spanish cabinet in disrepute

A minister in the seven-day-old Spanish government has been discredited by publications about his conviction for tax evasion.

Spanish media reported on Wednesday that he was convicted for this in 2014 and the tax authorities therefore had to pay 366,000 euros. The verdict has become final last year. The 47-year-old writer, journalist and TV personality Huerta became Minister of Culture and Sport on June 6 in the minority cabinet of the Social Democratic Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
